REFLECTOR: Question on Velocity Fuel

Hey Andy,

I'm not sure exactly what you're after, but here's
another thought. Fuel will also exit the plane via the
vent system during rotation and climb out with full
tanks. You can watch this happen on the ground by
lifting up the nose when the tanks are full.

Because of this, it's a very good idea to have the
exiting vent line centered on (versus on the side of)
the lower fuselage so this exiting fuel drains
straight back toward the prop and not toward the
exhaust pipes.
