   Be careful what fuel filter you use. A automotive filter is  usually a 
paper element. Great for cleaning out particles BUT when water comes  in contact 
with the paper it makes almost a jelly film that stops fuel flow.  Most, if 
not all, aviation fuel filters are a metal mesh which will pass  water through 
with the fuel. A little rough but still runing. Just a small  safety issue
