REFLECTOR: Good reading for wiring your aircraft

I found this as a good start for general information for wiring any aircraft. I am an Avionics Engineer and A&P by trade Part 25 heavy commercial aircraft, and think you couldn't go wrong if you used the information at this link to get you started. He is correct that if you shield your wiring correctly you won't have any noise problems. In commercial aircraft they do separate AC from DC and other noisy circuits not just for the noise, it is more to prevent a short from shutting down every system in the aircraft. All redundant systems take a different path in the aircraft including hydraulics and flight controls. Triple redundant systems wouldn't be of any use after a short and fire if they all ran in the same wire loom. Use aviation grade wiring and your project will last and perform for longer that most of us will still be able to fly. My 2 cents on the issue your results may varry.
