Hi Nate -

Glad to hear from you. I have heard rumors of maybe a dozen Velocity
builders/ fliers around WA and OR.

Hiroo has a great SUV N21HV he's been working diligently on and will fly
soon. Mike Dawson (from Seattle) and his brother William (from
Hillsboro) are building an SE (I think) N104DD with a Chevy engine at
Chehalis. Mike and I are both controllers and know a few tricks to
getting what you need from ATC.

My XLRG is N949WR based at TIW. I just upgraded to toe pedals and
Cleveland brakes and may be back flying next week.

Other Velocitys may be found at AWO, PAE, CLM, 0S9, KLS, HIO, CVO, OTH,
and ORS, though a couple of those may have been sold.

Good luck with that nut plate. I've got a couple of those I need to fix
myself. Wish I had a handy cowling removal system like Chuck Harbert of
PAE (STD RG N300VT).

Check out http://www.frappr.com/velocity for more PNW Velocity
bums.
