REFLECTOR: What happened to the velocity views

All I can say is that I used to look foreword to getting my old fashioned
(paper) but very well done Velocity Views in the mail- really- when it would
show up in the mail, I would get a warm rush of dopamine just thinking about
all of the Velocity goodness that I knew would be found inside.   I got the
information handed to me, and I could read it at my leisure- i.e.- in bed
before sleep- we were all promised a better system but I think there have
only been one or 2 "issues" and they are not sent to you, you have to go and
look for them, there may be some recent KPC's on the XLRG, but I am
unfortunately unaware.  I have all of my old Views nicely bound in a 3 ring
binder- can reference them at any time, but really I am not sure I know
exactly where the new electronic one is linked- and at least the paper ones
did come with exacting regularity- I vote to go back to the old system-
anyone who is with me please sound off..

My guess it is why we have not seen a Velo View in a long time too.

banner on the top of their home page- once they got far enough along to go
consider taking these steps, they should have contacted all of us
builders/owners, and given us the information on how the deal will affect

I know they have tried to sell Velocity before, about 3 years ago if 
memory serves. That last deal fell though. Sales of companies are tricky 
things, if things get out too early, they can sour a deal and put people 
into a panic. As an example I own a Flight School and Repair Station, if 
I were to want to sell and the word would get out before a deal is 
completed, it could be devastating to my business. I would not want the 
word to get out before there was a completed deal. (Now do not start any 
rumors, I am not selling or looking so sell.)  ;-)

Being one of the builders that is still building, the factory sale can

some serious anxiety.  The support has been outstanding.  The team at the
factory and their reputation for taking care of their builders played a big
part in my purchase decision.
 
In a situation like this I will continue to trust Velocity.  They really
care.  I know they won't leave me hanging.
 
I will anxiously await the news from the factory.  I'm sure Scott Baker

newsletter! ;)
