I have the 12 volt blue fleese  one and love it.  One can sit  on it or
throw it over one's knees or place it over the passengers legs for very
comfortable rides.  No thermostat but I believe it warms to about 130
degrees and shuts off but I do not know where the sensor is.  We were
flying thru snow in sub 0 weather lately on a three hundred mile trip
and it worked great to spread over the rear passenger's knees and
between the seats to the co pilots lap with responders relating
excellent comfort.  6 to 8 amp draw.

These seem to go from 100 to 300 w.  Can anyone share experience with
regard to the actual effectiveness of these units.
