REFLECTOR: Sniffer valve for Fuel Injected Lycomings (was Idle Adjustment)

Keith,

The sniffle valve is located at the low point of the
induction system and allows excess fuel to escape the
system (when the engine is flooded, for example). 

Since you don't want any fuel coming out of the
sniffle valve to dump inside your cowling either, you
need to route a line from the valve to a safe exit.

If your engine doesn't have a valve already, it
probably has a threaded brass plug where the it should
go. Try Lycon - they should stock them.
