REFLECTOR: Nose wheel shimmy

That seems like an unlikely fix! It seems it changes the harmonic frequency
by adding mass, and maybe a bit of stiffness. I wonder if a similar concept
would help on a Velocity nose strut.

I have friends with RV's that had shimmy problems, although theirs was on
the mains of a taildragger. . Oddly enough, they cured it with PVC pipe.
they take PVC pipe, cut in in half so you now have a long piece of PVC "C".

They then fill it with silicone, and slap it on the front of the gear legs,
and strap it into position with fiberglass reinforced strapping tape. Put
the gear fairings back on.. and no more wobble/shimmy. Interesting fix, but
it worked.
