10 days after our embarrassing fuel incident, the FAA Designated
Airworthiness Representative, Charlie Cotton came back out to Arlington and
this time, went over the plane, signed the logbook, and handed me the "pink
slip".

With that, the pile of fiberglass parts that lingered in shop for 7 years
turned into an "aircraft" (at least in the eyes of the US government).

We are close!

That's great!! Another major step behind you. Next big step - - airborne.
