Thanks to you (and Lawrence) for asking Chuck,
I'm in NW Sydney - which is normally way too far south from areas normally
affected by such things. We have had some amazingly ferocious weather events
such as major hail storms which have caused many millions of dollars worth
of damage to roofs, cars etc.
Most people do not appreciate just how big a country Australia actually is -
come down and have a look sometime! (maybe our next Velocity Symposium
should be down here!)
Kind regards,
Greg in Sydney.

Greg,
Did any of the typhoons, cyclones or super-sized tornados visit your
neighborhood or did they stay a respectful distance away?
Thanks,
Chuck Jensen

I second Ron's advice. There is a reason that a Stoll kit is not an
option for the Velocity. The Velocity was designed to go fast, but the
compromise is it lands the same way. We don't fly the Velocity to land
on sand bars in Alaska for fishing. So, based on experience and weather
conditions, pick appropriate length runways and you'll be a happy
camper, er, pilot.
Thanks,
Chuck Jensen
