REFLECTOR: Arm pit scoops

Dave,

I found two things worked to get the temps down with arm-pit scoops.
1. Put in alumunin tabs or diverts that drive 2/3s of the incoming air
directly again # 5 and #5.
2. Get rid of all the 90 degree bends and go to a direct updraft, you'll
still need to guide a big proportion of the air to #5 and #6.

My engine was running very hot at the time as well, with 10to1 pistons and
pumping 235 horses out of a parrallel valve.

That was fine on the EZ's they were up draft engines. This is a down draft
engine. I had no problem at all with the up draft. I had two oil coolers
as well. One in the back of the engine and one on the side. Oil temp is
not my issue.

been iffy.
