Looking at your fuel drain valve, the manual advices us to recess it.  In
case of a gear up landing you would not want the valve to brake and spill
gall all over the place.

I'm adding 2 more main gear doors to my plane. Might even increase my speed
by feet per hour.

If you look close, the Franklin fuel pump drain line is in the picture.
