REFLECTOR: Cruise speed "speed brake"

I once asked Alan Shaw this question and his comment was Instant Deep Stall I assume because the lift balance between the canard and wing would no longer be correct. We then discussed placing the SB on the bottom of the wing as a drag device and he thought that this might be possible.

underbelly speed brake in my RG and it definetely works well for landing,
but I'd love to have a real speed brake. I'll try to get a look at the
Mooney's speed brake and send everybody the info.
