The price difference between aircraft plugs and automotive plugs makes the
latter pretty attractive . . .

I'm getting closer to engine start. I filled up the Franklin with oil
today, removed the plugs and cranked it on the starter. Good solid 80
PSI oil pressure, RPM gauge works, Autronic EFI system getting signals,
oil flow sensor sending pulses. The backup magneto even makes sparks.

All good.

Now, my Autronic drives three dual post coils, wasted spark
configuration. My problem is this: I want to use aviation plugs ...
unless anyone here has a very compelling reason for me to try auto
plugs. If I go aviation, I need to make a harness. I already have the
harness kits, but I need a boot that fits the automotive style post.

The nice thing about auto plugs is that I can experiment with the heat
ratings. I'd have to install the 14mm to whatever adapter.

The nice thing about aviation plugs ... well they fit the hole. I'll
then have to make hybrid auto/aviation wires.
