I'll second that on both comments, great stuff, but nasty smell, and
overspray. Isn't it true that most "good stuff" is also bad for you.

Randy,
Try this link
http://www.bondo-online.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=587
If it doesn't work, then google mar-hyde. It is a single step self etch
primer made by Bondo corp. It comes in an aerosol can which is a good deal
over having to mix two part primers. It puts out a thin coat so plan I
having to do several coats. ...and it's nasty stuff...no two ways about
that part of it. A good mast and good ventilation is a must.

Subject: REFLECTOR: Zinc Chromate vs. Zinc Oxide
I have some parts that I need to prime, and I know that zinc chromate has
been the primer of choice for years, but due to the chromate supposedly
being a carcinogen, is not as popular. AS&S lists zinc oxide right alongside
zinc chromate and says that they're fine for aluminum and steel. (I have
some steel I want to prime.) My local paint store can't get zinc chromate,
so I asked them to order a can of zinc oxide. I checked out the label this
morning and it says that it's for aluminum, magnesium, and other non-ferrous
materials. When I read that, I interpreted it as meaning "no-steel"; steel
is ferrous, isn't it?
So should I order a can of zinc chromate from AS&S, or go back and get the
can of zinc oxide? Thanks for your help!
