Reflector: Strake Lights

Hi George- I put a pair into my strakes- will put some pictures up on
the tvbf site, but they are recog lights not landing- will work for taxi
too though- I made adjustable buckets for them, so I could adjust aim
after installation- they don't really shine on the canard, they point
outward a bit, also have a alternating flasher built into them like
police lights, so I should be noticeable in heavy traffic areas like the
LA basin......

Subject: Reflector: Strake Lights

I have modified installation of a small taxi light on the nose.

I was thinking about installing my lights in the strakes and I know some

of you have done it. My questions to those already flying are:
1. Does the canard pose a noticeable obstruction to the beam?
2. Is the reflection on the white canard surfaces intense enough to
decrease night vision adaptation when turned on?
I would appreciate any experience and comments.
