REFLECTOR: anyone know the story behind this- musthavemissedit.....

It's been so long, I don't remember what happened to the door.  Brendan exited the aircraft without assistance.  Rescue team and firefighters were on scene within minutes - it is quite possible they ripped away the door to get inside the cabin to determine if there was a fuel leak situation.

  The photo shows the door missing. (?).  I am wondering how was Brendan able to open the gull-wing door and exit the airplane? Where is the door?
