Yes this sounds great except if my MT prop gets damaged, a 5-10K deductible
really is like not having any insurance at all.

Subject: RE: REFLECTOR: Insurance
I've been with Falcon Insurance for two years (each year paid the same
amount ~$5000.00/year)
I am instrument rated with 500 hours
Hull insurance for $175,000.00 - no deductible.
$1M Liability
My renewal just came in again for $5,000.00.
Falcon said that he tried to get an alternative quote with AIG, but the max
hull coverage they offer is $100,000.
Just a thought here, and note that I am one who believes in paying for as
little insurance as "necessary". If you built it, and you break it, you can
probably fix it again. Consider the $100K coverage, and a 5 - 10K
deductible, and see what that premium is.
