REFLECTOR: Wig root cooling

Joe,

Rich Guerra installed a wing root cooler in his.  It was per Malcolm
Collier.  You can see it at http://www.rguerra.com/velocity/  It is listed
under "Wingroot Oil Cooler" in the left hand menu.

Rich is a busy guy but he still monitors the reflector now and then.

Does anyone have experience or know of anyone who has had experience with
wing root cooling.

The questions I have are
* How much lift penalty is there?
* Does it affect the deep stall characteristics of a 173?
* How much ground cooling does it provide?
