Ed Anderson of the RV Rotary fame, says that the O2 sensors will actually work for several hundred hours before upchucking. He uses them to monitor his rotary's fuel mixture.

It would actually take a bit of time to fry a catalytic converter using 100LL. What it WILL render inop very quickly is your Oxgen sensor. Only those using good ole fasion autos (pre 02 and converter) can burn 100LL. Then, it will run Really well.

I would like to drain my tanks for a couple reasons and don't want to buy several more gas containers. It would delay me a week to get cans from my friends. Is dumping 100LL into my automobile a bad idea? This time of year the 92 octane here has up to 10% ethanol.
