Hello everyone,

I am not flying, in fact I am just about finished with unpacking my project
after a 2 1/2 year relocation adventure from hell. Going to be starting on
the strakes again.

I placed my sequence valve near the top of the canard bulkhead, it's
activated by the bend in the nose gear leg at the end of it's swing, I am going to
change that or create a "Stop" for the leg as the valve gets hit harder than I
like.

Forgive me for not having the part numbers, they are still "packed" along
with my A.S.S. parts bible. To control the slamming of the gear doors I used 2
AN reducing bushings I ordered through Spruce and about 5 inches of 1/8 inch,
aluminum hydraulic tube. I reduce the line from the 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch,
then back up to the 1/4 inch to go back into the Nose gear cylinder. The doors
close with some "Authority" but do not snap hard like others I have seen.

On the down or open side they work fine both with the pump on and with the
emergency dump valve/spring tension configuration. As I said, I am not flying
but this set up worked fine in the teen and 20 degree temps while I was in my
frosty hangar in Lake Tahoe. The cold temps did not seem to change the
action. If I apply pressure on the doors by hand while opening in an attempt to
simulate air pressure, they still open fine, time will tell for me. Simple,
cheap and clean. Anyone want a picture send me a note directly.

Best to all,
Larry Lambert
