REFLECTOR: Alt hold units

Rene, 

I too have a similar ALT. Hold. with out the over center bracket. The bracket 
I  use to attach it will not allow the crank to rotate farther than the MAX 
up elevator travel. The counter weights stop it from going past max down 
elevator travel. Both of these mechanical stops prohibit the crank from "over 
centering".  I think Chris's setup is similar.
