I have ordered the new parts on will do many retraction tests and
adjustments before venturing out into the wild blue!

I had no spacer pm the nose gear door actuator.  I did not know I needed
one there,

Ah-h-h; there is no spacer on the nose gear door actuator.  The door
closing
is adjusted by adjusting the threaded rod-end bearing on the cylinder
shaft,
and then for each door by adjusting the length of the threaded end
fittings
on the rods connecting to the door hinge arm.
