REFLECTOR: New Owner

I suppose it goes without saying you wouldn't be looking for another prop if you were satisfied with the performance of the one your new Velocity has on it now. Just out of curiosity, is it a manual, electrically adjustable, or one of the new constant speed models? I can't think of any prop that has had more performance variation reported from Velocity owners than the IVO, and I'm beginning to wonder if the wrong length and pitch has been applied to different engine / aircraft combinations somewhere along the line. Some pilots are very happy with them, and others wouldn't use them for a boat anchor; there must be some explanation somewhere.

Thanks,
Robin

I finally purchaced a Velocity RG Long Wing with a Franklin 205/220 hp and an Ivo prop and am in the middle of re-doing several things. I ordered a Catto prop and was wanting input from like owners about the length and pitch. Thank you Ron Brown, for the help! Also thanks to the Reflector for the input that I got, to make my purchace. I also own a LongEZ that I will now be selling. Larry Parham
