6.76 psi at 20,000 ft

from http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/air-altitude-pressure-25_462.html

********************************************
Pitot pressure in inches-of-water is:

P,in H2O = (V, mph) ^2 / 2070

250 kts = 288 mph
288 ^2 / 2070 = 40.1 in H2O

1 in H2O = 0.0361 psi
40.1 x 0.0361 = 1.45 psi

Subject: REFLECTOR: Air pressure question...

I am not too up on my physics so I would like to pick the community's
collective brains on a little air pressure question.

The air pressure at sea level is about 14.5psi. What is the air
pressure at, say 20,000ft msl?

Also, what would be the pressure differential (in PSI) at 250KIAS
between Pitot and Static ports?

Thanks.

Hiroo
