REFLECTOR: I don't know this aircraft

On that note- in my install, there are two fittings that leave the
engine, and attach to flex host that brings the fuel to and from the
firewall- I have used steel fittings in these 2 locations for just the
possibility that the constant movement between the flex hose and the
engine could possibly weaken an aluminum fitting- Milt Mersky and I
pressurized the fuel rails for the first time yesterday, dialed up to 43
PSI as per specs, didn't notice any cavitation bubbles from the pump,
so now just need to get that damned engine management computer hooked
up.........

Kevin,

Was the fitting that cracked steel or aluminum?

Happy to hear that the damage wasn't too bad. BTW - what kind of prop
do you
have?

Jim
