REFLECTOR: Video of NOSE GEAR DOOR DO-HICKEY

Besides the numerous on the ground workings, the system has worked fine in the air about twelve times now, 6 times in the last 7 days (15 hours down and 25 to go), and held closed at 222 knots. So far I have stayed out of turbulent air.

Lot's of things 'work' on the ground. How will it work in actual practice?
Doug K's aircraft is the only Velocity flying with this setup. My
impression is that that there are very, very few flight hours - and fewer
still actual in-flight cycles of the system. We like the idea and think
that it has merit. We will be watching and evaluating how well the system
works in Dan Smalley's aircraft before we make any decisions regarding a kit
plans change.

Bad humor, Jim.
