BRS, the makers of ballistic parachute recovery systems
www.BRSparachutes.com, is designing a parachute recovery system for the
Velocity.  The system will be designed so that it can be fitted to new
aircraft as well as aircraft that are already flying.  Velocity, Inc. is
working with BRS engineers to finalize details relating to attachment
points.  BRS has already completed several field visits to the Velocity
factory and have given us preliminary signals that the design should "come
together" without undue complications.  Price information is pending,
however a BRS system for the Velocity XL should cost less than $26,000, not
including the labor to install the system.
