REFLECTOR: fast build elevators safety warning

Hello Dmitry,
Thank you for discovering this and for making a detailed report with photos. 
Up until about 2-years ago, the elevators were fabricated using foam-core, 
mold less construction (like the wings).  Molded elevators (using 3/16" 
foam) were introduced with the "Brazil" wings and the Velocity factory 
followed suit by making it's fastbuild elevators using molded construction 
methods.
The sub-standard situation that we see in Dmitry's elevators does not match 
the methods that are in use today.  The elevator torque tubes are thoroughly 
"scratched" along the length of the torque tube (i.e. the tube that forms 
the leading edge of the elevator) and the top and bottom fiberglass "skins" 
overlap each other (not butted) around the leading edge.  This is good news 
to Velocity builders who have recently received their kits, but of little 
consolation to Dmitry.
Dmitry - please do not use - or try to fix these elevators.  The factory 
will provide new elevators to you and compensate you for the time you have 
lost while installing the hinges, etc. and mounting the problem elevators. 
Please let me know the address and we will ship the replacement elevators 
and elevator hinges and hardware immediately.
We are deeply sorry for causing you these problems and the time lost in 
building your Velocity.
