REFLECTOR: PREVENTING DRAFTS

When I take off or come into the pattern and its 10 degrees, I would
prefer not to have a cold ass gale streaming through the cabin.

I preheat the engine and the cabin prior to departing in winter
conditions, its a drag to have that nice warm cabin put in the deep
freeze on departure. Especially as the nose heater doesn't really come on
line until the oil temps is above 180 degrees.... Which is at least 5
minutes into teh flight. If its really cold it can take 10 -15 minutes to
get the oil temp high enough to heat the outside air...
