REFLECTOR: Velocity Jet

Well it was just a matter of time.  They tried this once before down at 
Scaled back in the early 90's with a Long EZ.  Wow what a trip. Of course it 
was a short trip.  I still can remember Mike Melvill flying over Edwards AFB 
with that thing going. He said it made a lot of noise but did little for the 
speed.  But it was a fun test to try.  Kept on it for a short time and then 
put it to bed.  I don't know what ever happen to the plane.  It just 
disappeared one day.  I think Burt just wanted it out of the hangar.  It 
created to many questions.
