REFLECTOR: FRANKLIN STARTER

I have read the posts from Mike Watson about his problem with his starter 
and I also am having starting problems on my Franklin.  I read Larry Coens 
post that the part number was 244-6116 and bought it from NAPA.  It only 
cost $122. Sounds pretty cheep compared to the SkyTec .  The starter is 
3/10" less in diameter and 7/10" shorter.  My question???  Being smaller..
