A doesn't work because the breaker can't take the device out of the circuit.

B is acceptable, especially if your "completing ground" to get the device
on, say a contactor or regulator.

C would work, but will most likely lead to extra wiring.

D is what I used the most, then B.

Not an electrical expert, but I went to the school of Knuckles...

To Clear up what I am asking are all of these acceptable ways of wiring? If
not could you tell me why?

A) +Battery-------------- Device --------------Breaker
-------------Switch--------------- Battery

B) +Battery --------------Breaker-------------Device
---------------Switch----------------Battery

C) +Battery----------------Switch --------------Breaker
-------------Device ---------------Battery

D) +Battery
---------------Breaker-------------Switch---------------Device--------------
--Battery

Thanks Ron
