REFLECTOR: Engine compartment oil cooler

Another option is replace the standard Lycoming
vernatherm spacer/washer with a thinner one. This
causes the valve to seat tighter and force more oil
thru the cooler(s). I believe a Continental spacer is
normally used for this purpose - it's about half the
thickness. Lycon supplied one for my engine and the
oil temps are all good.
