REFLECTOR: Nose Gear Struts - Safety Issue

My gear leg is painted.  Looking up from underneath the upper part looks green, but it
is hard to see.  The "taco" appears to be bolted on.  I bought my Velocity, so I don't
know what was done before 5/03.
