Hook a multimeter set to millivolt to the core/sheild of one of the cables and wave a small magnet over the wing (where the NAV antenna is located) and compare the voltage value with the magnet being waved over the winglet (where the COMM antenna is located). Confirm by hooking the multimeter to the other cable and repeat. Worked for me.
