Dave,

If you see Chuck, tell him Scott Derrick says hi. We were radar rats
together at Oakland Center.

Why "don't do" Tahoe. I fly into TVL quite a lot in my Std RG? I was even
foolish enough to give a 250 lb. guy a ride out of there(he was building a
V), and I had 60 gallons of fuel and my travel tool kit on board! And it
was a pretty warm summer evening! I think density was around 10,000. Man
you talk about using up some runway! That was a lesson I'll never
forget. I have no problem going into TVL with me and the wife(she's a
light weight) and baggage. Though I restrict our full fuel departures to
early morning.

MHV can give you some intermediate density's, but nothing like Bishop,
Tahoe or my airfield GNT's. I just thought you might want to see how she
performs in the mountain west before twisting the prop anymore.
