So very sorry to hear of the damage to your plane.  No apologies needed
here.  Put it behind you.  

A twin Piper did a gear up landing here at Oceanside a couple of days ago.
The pilot was in a state of distraction after setting up approach at
Carlsbad Palomar thinking he was at Oceanside.  After making the 6-7 mile
adjustment he landed gear up.

I am wiring in the gear warning horn today.
