REFLECTOR: Velocity Factory Status

I exchanged a couple emails with Duane Swing yesterday afternoon.  The
phone/email was back in service yesterday about 3:00pm.  Basically no
significant physical damage to facility, aircraft or other property,
including builders and planes there for inspection.  They are in the process
of ramping back up to full activity.  Overall, quite fortunate, though a
couple weeks were 'lost' which for small businesses is often damaging enough
in itself.  Other than that, everything seems in good shape.

I don't know the status of the Sebastian runways, but I have flown in to VRB
and their runways are clear.  They have several notams for runway lights out
of service but the airport is operational.  Piper took a big hit and they
have a lot of roof damage.  It looked like a couple of their big hangars had
their roofs tore off completely.
Vero Beach is only about 15 minutes drive from Sebastian.
