REFLECTOR: Water Cooling

Nice installation Al - will be very interested to hear how well it works and whether you need to perform any mods to refine it.  Did you have any trouble shaping the duct? ...and, did you consider a variable inlet /scoop to vary inlet quantity and drag for the changing needs for climb and cruise?

  Do you have pictures of your wing-root radiator installation?  

  See attached.  First pic is the 'duct' before glassing and without the insulated supports for the rad.  The second is the inlet, the third is the exit fairing.

  Did you reduce the size of the fuel tank or reduce the baggage area?



  No; the radiator (and oil cooler) are behind the spar; what I (maybe Allan Shaw started this) refer to as the "wing root"
