REFLECTOR: Mag harnesses

Going through the temp senors on the engine, I wanted to verify the mag
leads going to the correct cylinder. I have a pair switched, but there is
no way they will make it because one is too short.

Is there a harness kit available so that I can make my own harness to the
length I want? It looks like it is a simple system. The Slick cap looks
like it has a hole in it. You strip off a little braid, then press a
ferrule that crimps the braid between it and the hole. Then a cap and
spring are attached to the center conductor.

It looks like RTV is what is used to hold the ends on the leads, and crimp
type holding the shilding braid wire, so the RTV doesn't need to hold a lot
of force.

Is it possible to remove this ferrule and re-order the leads? If so, can I
press it out from the outside, or how is one supposed to remove this
ferrule?
