Tom,
Good luck on getting the wife interested. Some have had great success 
in this endeavor. Since you have been at this since last January your 
wife has probably figured out that your original estimate on how long 
this project was going to take was a little bit of a fictional tale. 
Pretty soon she will start adding up the expenditures. That can get a 
little ugly as you try to explain the good deal you just got on the 
this or that. Not to fear when you get to the part where she gets to 
decide on the colors and the interior it all turns better. She may 
even sand some of the wings ( for a little while).
But when it is all over and you start taking vacation trips, when you 
want to where you want and you land at islands that are remote and 
beautiful . The plane really becomes "our plane".
