Tom,
Good luck on getting the wife interested. Some have had great success
in this endeavor. Since you have been at this since last January your
wife has probably figured out that your original estimate on how long
this project was going to take was a little bit of a fictional tale.
Pretty soon she will start adding up the expenditures. That can get a
little ugly as you try to explain the good deal you just got on the
this or that. Not to fear when you get to the part where she gets to
decide on the colors and the interior it all turns better. She may
even sand some of the wings ( for a little while).
But when it is all over and you start taking vacation trips, when you
want to where you want and you land at islands that are remote and
beautiful . The plane really becomes "our plane".
Good luck
Jack
