Kurt,
When you get some more time, could you explain the particulars please- I am
going to use a low drag "Aero" style scoop design- it has a rounded
triangular opening that tapers to a small vertical edge in the rear-instead
of trying to just ramp down - supposed to be a lot less drag than the P-51
style Tim had, and should help keep the air in the prop- curious as to just
what you have come up with and the particulars from Tim's tape - would
appreciate a copy of that , can paypal you for the effort, just let me
know.....

Alex

I have a copy of Tim England's tape, and can make more.

He was a big help to me, as there were some things I wanted to do that he
explained. There were also some things he did that I wanted to change.
Consider it improving on some steps he already made.

One thing I noticed is that his Velocity was pretty slow. I believe that the
pit scoops, the bottom cowl bump (air to the prop) and the belly scoop all
added up to more drag than usual.

Thanks to Tim, I came up with a design that I believe will improve on his
work. Time will tell.
