I do not have anything to say about the SmartSingles, but it is an
interesting idea they have with the modules talking to the sensors on a
common bus.

At Sun and Fun, I looked at PC flight Systems.

Their gyros look very good and solid.  I shook them and tried to get them to
tumble, but they were solid.  Their cost is not much more than the
smartSingles.  I read the documentation on SmartSingles, and it's
interesting their disclaimer on using their products in IFR flight, whereas
the PC Flight systems guys claim theirs is a legitimate backup system.
