I trimmed my first spring per the Velocity manual and found
it way too light. I installed a full size spring and found
it was fine. I start my TO roll with about 20 degrees of
UP elevator and by the time I level out the elevators are
about neutral from air load.

Start with the full spring and trim after you fly it a
little.
