REFLECTOR:Response to a request for information

Many times I receive a direct or indirect request for
additional information after a post.  

Responders try their best to provide this information and
rarely receive an acknowledgement of receipt.  

If the information is posted to the reflector it is
generally assumed that it is received, when directly sent
to the requestor the sender is always wondering if it was
ever received.  A simple “Thanks I got the info” is all
that is required.
