Subject: REFLECTOR: GEAR RETRACTION

Everything went well ... but when putting the gear down ... the main gear
"over center" lock doesn't quite make it. It is just tiny nudge away. I
can see no place to adjust it. Does the big spring simply have to work its
way out?

Are the gear legs fully into the sockets; or are the cables to the cylinder
rod maybe a little too tight. Since the sockets should be formed to the
gear legs, and then glassed in place while seated snuggly on the legs and
the overcenter linkage locked; the sockets should not be the culprits
preventing the linkage from going to fully locked position.
