REFLECTOR: GEAR RETRACTION

Is it the main spring or is it the latch bar binding? In my case it was the latch bar binding enough that it would not quite seat properly.
A little filing in the notch and a lot of WD-40 cured the problem.

Everything went well ... but when putting the gear down ... the main gear “over center” lock doesn’t quite make it.  It is just tiny nudge away.  I can see no place to adjust it.  Does the big spring simply have to work its way out?
