Ok, the pilot pushed up the power levers in/up but the computer did not give him power (until it checked things) but it was pilot error? ("the pilot did not give the
fly by wire system enough time"?)
I realize that has been the official Airbus line lo these many years but I think most pilots can see through that?
I'm with Hiroo. I have been in the tech business long enough now to *know* that I don't want computers controlling things for me. Collect, process and display information? No problemo! Direct control? No way, thank you very much.
Thread creep warning- All you FADEC guys, enjoy your extremely high fuel flows. I'll keep my old fashioned mixture knob thank you very much. :-)
