Thanks.  Sound like I'm wasting my time trying to get the stainless tape
to stick.  I
don't have plans to run screws or bolts through mine (just oil caps) so I
guess I'll go
for a while w/o the tape and see what happens.  Sorry about the resend of my
question.  Having a problem with my email.

Velocity Aircraft Owners and Builders list <reflector at tvbf.  The big
damage has been on the back side of the prop, where a leading edge
  wouldn't have helped at all.  A couple cowl screws and a 1/2" alternator
  bolt/washers/nut all wacked the back side real good.  I fixed some with
  flox/micro and some with JB Weld
